Converting to Virtual Credentials

Dear Coordinator,

Effective September 1st, 2025, BNET will discontinue the issuance and support of physical (plastic) CEAS Cards. After this date, the CEAS program will operate as a Virtual credential program.  Requests for printed physical CEAS Cards will not be processed after the cutoff date; thereafter, they must be converted to Virtual Credentials.

• Physical cards that expire after September 1st, 2025, remain valid until their expiration date or until your subscription expires, whichever comes first; thereafter, they must be converted to a Virtual Credential.
• The Virtual Credential Program does not support any CEAS Card that is not connected to an individual, i.e., Flex Cards and Insurance Adjuster Cards. Physical Flex Cards cannot be converted to Virtual Credentials. Coordinators may assign Virtual Credentials to employees with smartphones during an event using the CEAS Mobile App.
• To maintain your existing unexpired physical cards through the upcoming renewal cycle, all renewals and card orders must be submitted before September 1st, 2025.
